There are two types of product for golf trolleys available
in a comprehensive range of ampere hours and sizes.
Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) – The Yuasa and Numax AGM batteries are totally sealed and as  the
electrolyte has been absorbed into glass mat separators there
is no chance of leakages. AGM batteries give excellent deep
cycle capability and low self discharge so they will always
be ready to perform. AGM is probably the most popular type
of battery for golf trolleys produced using a tried and tested
manufacturing process ensuring high performance.
GEL - Gel batteries are similar to AGM
batteries except that an immobilised electrolyte is used.
GEL batteries are more tolerant to deeper cycling than AGM
batteries and have a very low self discharge. GEL batteries
were specially designed for maintenance free portable power
supply. Whether you choose the Numax or Sonnenschein brand, pound for pound, you will
find GEL hard to beat for all round performance and reliability.
